Inflection Point Solutions Hosts Pretreatment Information Management System User Conference
Inflection Point Solutions hosts user conference focused on pretreatment management issues and the future of pretreatment technologies.
Inflection Point Solutions (IPS), the national leader in the Pretreatment Information Management System (PIMS) software industry, hosted a PIMS User Conference on September 19-21, 2006 at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, Wisconsin (MMSD), a user of the IPS PIMS product.
“MMSD is proud of our pretreatment program and we were pleased to host the inaugural PIMS User Conference to share the best practices of our PIMS usage with other outstanding utilities,” said Dave Melbye, CIO, MMSD.
The Conference highlighted recent and pending Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) changes to industrial pretreatment program management, client presentations on mobile applications, best practices of pretreatment programs, and included interactive sessions regarding future features of the PIMS product. In addition, Carey Johnston, US - EPA, provided the keynote address to discuss the need for gathering industrial user point source data and EPA limits outside of the normal control authorities.
“The PIMS User Conference provides a unique opportunity to our user community – the ability to have a voice in the future development of the PIMS product and to build a network of peers to better understand how the PIMS product has influenced other pretreatment programs,” said Mark Grosskopf, President, Inflection Point Solutions.
Plans are in place to conduct the next PIMS User Conference in Spring of 2008.
