Inflection Point Solutions on Project Team to Provide COTS Solution for Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation, California

Inflection Point Solutions on project team to provide replacement to current WISARD system.

Inflection Point Solutions (IPS) is a member of the project team that has been selected by the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation to provide the pilot implementation of the Wastewater Information System and Analytical Research Database (WISARD) core replacement with a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) product.  The current WISARD system is used to manage and report all data necessary for treatment plant operations and data required for regulatory reporting.

The proposed COTS product is OPS SQL, a product from OPS Systems, Inc., utilized for multi-facility regulatory reporting by more than 2,000 entities, including numerous large utilities.  Philip A. Naecker Software Engineers is leading the replacement project; IPS will provide the GAP analysis and oversight of the product installation.

“This is a foundational system for the Bureau’s Engineering and Operations Divisions,” said Corey Williams, Project Manager, Inflection Point Solutions.  “We are pleased to be a member of the Project Team selected to provide the Bureau with a cost effective COTS solution.”
