Inflection Point Solutions Provides Executive Advisory Services for Littleton-Englewood Wastewater Treatment Plant
Inflection Point Solutions prepares organization for upcoming plant expansion.
Inflection Point Solutions (IPS) is assisting the Littleton-Englewood Wastewater Treatment Plant (LEWWTP) in the assessment of its Operations Division in preparation of the upcoming plant expansion, scheduled to go on-line in August of 2008.
Key drivers for the initiative include:
- new processes associated with the plant expansion,
- a retiring workforce,
- additional duties of staff during plant construction,
- adoption of a pay-for-performance evaluation process, and
- the desire to maintain LEWWTP’s status as an industry leading facility.
The project includes development and implementation of a Knowledge Management Program to initiate a method for retiring operators to “transfer” their expertise (skills and knowledge) to new staff and to enable all operators to gain expertise in the new processes associated with the plant expansion.
In addition, the project includes development and implementation of a Performance Management Program. The primary goal of which is to provide a consistent and timely method to communicate divisional and individual performance.
Additional responsibilities include team-building workshop facilitation, schedule analysis, cultural assessment, and assistance with strategic plan development.
“IPS personnel have a long history with the LEWWTP and have always been impressed with their desire to continually improve,” said Ken Ward, Project Manager. “Our knowledge of the LEWWTP organization and best practices within the industry allow us to provide the necessary guidance for LEWWTP to become a premier organization.”
