Inflection Point Solutions is Member of Team to Implement GIS System for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority
GIS to integrate with IPS’ Pretreatment Information Management System.
Inflection Point Solutions is a member of the Project Team that has been selected to design, document, and implement a Web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping application for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA).
The new system will integrate with the MWRA’s Pretreatment Information Management System (PIMS) – a proprietary technology owned by IPS.
IPS will assist the Project Team in an assessment of the existing conditions of the MWRA GIS and PIMS infrastructure in order to develop an understanding of the existing conditions, design controls, and integration intricacies.
“In addition to our in-depth knowledge of the MWRA’s PIMS installation and its capabilities and requirements for system integration, IPS has a solid understanding of the various work flows and data flows relevant for the application design,” said Sam Catoe, Executive Vice President. “This will enable us to maximize the integration potential of the GIS with the PIMS system.”
