Inflection Point Solutions Leads Operational Data System Replacement Project for Metro Wastewater Reclamation District (Denver), Colorado
Inflection Point Solutions conducts initial Needs Assessment and Preliminary Gap Analysis.
Inflection Point Solutions has been selected to conduct Phase 1: Needs Assessment and Preliminary Gap Analysis to replace and enhance the Metro Wastewater Reclamation District’s existing Operational Data System (ODS), currently used as a central data repository and reporting tool for a variety of District information purposes.
The project includes face-to-face interviews and workshops with members of the Metro District’s staff, along with collection and evaluation of numerous reports, analyses, and documentation, to detail business processes and workflows, data integration needs, and defined gaps.
To further enhance the project, IPS has assembled a Peer Review Group consisting of utility Chief Information Officers nationwide to assist in the definition and identification of relative industry Best Practices and to provide a detailed review of the draft Gap Analysis.
“IPS applauds the Metro District in their recognition of the importance of the planning and assessment phase related to a major software implementation that will work in concert with existing and new streamlined business practices,” said Corey Williams, Vice President. “Completion of a comprehensive Needs Assessment and Gap Analysis positions the Metro District for ultimate success in its’ ODS replacement.”
