Inflection Point Solutions Selected for Phase 2 of Operational Data System Replacement Project for Metro Wastewater Reclamation District (Denver), Colorado

Selection due to IPS’ successful completion of Phase 1 - Needs Assessment and Preliminary Gap Analysis.

Inflection Point Solutions has been selected to conduct Phase 2: Detailed Gap Analysis, Preliminary Design, and Detailed Design to replace and enhance the Metro Wastewater Reclamation District’s existing Operational Data System (ODS).  The selection for Phase 2 was due to IPS’ successful completion of Phase 1 - Needs Assessment and Preliminary Gap Analysis.

Phase 2 will engage the IPS Software Lab, a division of IPS that manages the complete life-cycle of software development and deployment. The IPS Software Lab will assist in the development of full software specifications, including definition of domains, users, and scenarios; preparation of detailed line item functional requirements; investigation of available technologies; and preparation of the preliminary design and planned system phasing and deployment.

The final product will be designed to create an environment that is more flexible and easy-to-use, provide more robust business and management reporting and decision support tools, and ultimately result in more timely, efficient and effective decision-making for Metro District professionals.

“We appreciate the confidence that the Metro District has shown in IPS to allow us to further provide services on this significant ODS project,” said Corey Williams, Vice President.  “Development of the proposed system supports the Metro District’s drive towards continuous process improvement and building operational efficiencies.”

Phase 2 is being conducted in parallel with IPS’ upgrade of Metro District’s Pretreatment Information Management System software.
